Cloud Distribution and Syndication Platform Connects Producers with Broadcasters

April 10, 2013 (Mount Laurel, NJ):  TelVue® Corporation (OTC: TEVE) – the innovation leader in Television and Internet Broadcasting for cable operators, media companies and communities – today launched the cloud-based TelVue Connect Media Exchange, a video program distribution and syndication platform that connects content producers with broadcasters.

TelVue is demonstrating the new TelVue Connect Media Exchange at the 2013 National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) in Las Vegas.  The Media Exchange is accessed through TelVue Connect, a groundbreaking cloud-based content ingest and transcoding system that simplifies program aggregation from multiple contributors, in multiple formats.

“TelVue Connect Media Exchange makes it easy for programmers to syndicate and distribute their content, enabling broadcasters to preview and license the programs from their web browser or mobile device,” explains Jesse Lerman, President and CEO of TelVue Corporation.  “Licensed programs are automatically transcoded to the format required by each broadcaster.  The Media Exchange greatly simplifies content distribution and is applicable to both long form and advertising media.”

The TelVue Connect Media Exchange supports a wide variety of professional broadcast and streaming formats including ATSC, CableLabs, Standard and High-Definition. Other features include processing of closed captions and ITU audio normalization.
