TelVue® launches AMGTV® Channel on Roku® OTT

“TelVue is proud to be selected as AMGTV’s newest affiliate broadcaster and the first affiliate to launch a dedicated Internet-based Roku Over-the-Top (OTT) channel. AMGTV on Roku powered by TelVue is a key development allowing AMGTV to expand its audience beyond traditional Over-the-Air (OTA) broadcasting to anyone with a broadband Internet connection and a Roku player,” explains Paul Andrews, VP for Sales and Marketing at TelVue Corporation.

AMGTV reaches nearly 150 affiliate OTA stations with its unique mix of Adventure, Sports, Drama, Comedy, Health, Travel and Children’s programs. Currently delivered Direct-to-Home (DTH) and to affiliate broadcasters via satellite, AMGTV is now available as a dedicated Roku channel powered by TelVue.     AMGTV seems like it would be a great channel to have on Roku if it worked.It worked when I first downloaded it just fine but then it got to where it buffers all the time and wont play.

    This could easily be a local Internet access problem for you. AMGTV is a higher bandwidth (1.2 mb/s) channel required for higher quality video.
